Chosen Genre

I have chosen to make a music video in the 'alternative' or 'pop- punk genre. There is a lot of crossover between the alternative and pop-punk genres. For this reason, when I mention alternative music in this blog I am also referring to pop-punk and vice versa. The alternative genre appeals to me as I listen to lots of alternative music so I'm aware of many of the conventions within alternative music videos. I also know people who can perform in the alternative style who I can film for my music video.
